📖 Missed Church, But Not My Moment with God
I overslept today and missed church. At first, guilt crept in. But the truth is, I had already opened my Bible and spent a quiet moment with God before I dozed off.
I was reading about King Joash and King Amaziah – two leaders who started strong but lost their way. It hit me how easy it is to begin with faith, only to drift when life gets loud or heavy.
But then this verse found me:
“The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him.” – 2 Chronicles 16:9
That was my reminder: God’s not expecting perfection. He’s searching for hearts that still want Him – even in their mess, even in their fatigue.
So maybe I missed a seat in church, but I didn’t miss Him. He met me right where I was – on the couch, with my Bible half open and my spirit still reaching.
To every tired mom, believer, or soul in progress – you’re not too late, and you’re not too far.
God still sees you. He still strengthens you.
